There’s been quite a bit of transfer talk since the end of the Scottish Cup Final, as you’d expect.

And first up in the rumour mill is the proposed move from Aberdeen of the Dons’ only goalscorer on Saturday, Jonny Hayes, to Brendan Rodgers’ Invincibles.

The proposed deal would apparently see Ryan Christie, who spent the last few months on loan at Pittodrie, going up North along with cash for the 29 year-old Irishman.

Brendan spoke about how well he knows Hayes, I’m sure he was at Reading as a boy, when Rodgers was a coach there.

But would Hayes for Christie plus cash be a good deal for Celtic?

For me, I’d rather we stuck with Ryan Christie. The Bhoy has bags of talent, and an eye for a goal, as he showed in his spell up at Aberdeen. Give him a run in the team, and he would be knocking on the door for a first team place, in my opinion.

Hayes on the other hand, would probably be a squad player, unless Brendan has a specific role in mind for him, with the possibility of Paddy Roberts not returning to the Hoops. Ultimately, he knows best.

But what do you think?

Stick with Ryan and give him a run in the team, or bring in Jonny Hayes?
