Manager Brendan Rodgers decided to give a few of his regular starters a rest against Partick Thistle during the week.
That won’t be the case today, as the Bhoys look to celebrate the fantastic news of Brendan’s contract extension by disposing of Kilmarnock at Celtic Park.
No doubt captain Scott Brown will return, as will Kieran Tierney and Dedryck Boyata, as the Hoops look to stretch our unbeaten run in domestic football to 39 games.
There might even be a starting place for Tom Rogic, the big Aussie managed to get a good half hour under his belt midweek, as he tries to get himself fit again after a long term injury.
And it looks like Moussa Dembele could be joining him as he too returns from a knock. The young Frenchman will be hoping to repeat his goalscoring exploits of Killie’s last visit, his brace helped Celtic to a 6-1 win after being a goal behind.
With the sun shining brightly on the Champions, it could be another of those special days in Paradise..
C’mon the Hoops!
