You would think Charles Green was running for election with the amount of press coverage he’s getting. It could be argued his ‘campaign’ to get Sevco/Newco into the SPL is almost political in it’s agenda anyway.
Based largely on lies, untruths, secret meetings, deception and a general theme of bullying, he could easily be standing for any of the political parties.
The idea that he and the rest of the football authorities can ride roughshod over the fans and bulldoze a way for the dead club to play in either the SPL or 1st Division of the SFL is scandalous, to say the least.
His desperation knows no bounds.
Knowing he has a ‘civil war’ on his hands with the emergence of the ‘Bomber Brown Consortium’ he will go to any lengths to deliver a result for his unknown investors.
Unfortunately for Green, not everyone can be bought off like James Traynor or Keith Jackson.
To his dismay, he’ll find there are chairmen in Scottish Football with integrity, custodians who will listen to the most important people in football. The fans.
All the posturing, scaremongering and bribery in the world won’t faze these honourable men. They have given their word.
To some that means a lot….to others, there’s always Charles Green.

With all the under the table deals being done to get the new club into the SPL Celtic should come out and make it clear that they will NOT be applying to join the new league set up that Doncaster and Regan have been scheming. How would their new league then survive ?
If they are not going to uphold integrity then Celtic should also leave the SPL and let them have their corrupt league and if that means Celtic applying to start at the bottom of the English League and buying out a club to get in then that sounds better than playing with a load of corrupt teams who would be prepared to accept money over integrity.
Imagine if Green’s Sevco got what they want. A team such as Hearts could copy them, spend 50 million on players, avoid paying taxes and see what they could win creaming off all the prize money. Once it becomes obvious they couldn’t pay their debts, they conveniently liquidate the business and sell Tyncastle to Romanov’s cousin for a million quid. They could then start again as “Newco” Hearts with no debts. So every team does the same. Not a bad con (if you can get away with it)!
The whole thing is an absolute sham. I’d like Celtic to come out and speak up now. Every day the posts are being moved to accommodate the Newco and we sit by and let it happen.
The comments coming from Regan about social unrest are verging on dangerous.
