Now that the SPL have announced who the MIB (mason in black) will be for Sunday’s game against Crimewatch FC, watch out for all sorts of mysterious links to Celtic, Ireland, Mass or even the Vatican!

The press will be put on high alert for any of the above being true. (media true?)

And what about the radio phone-ins?

I can just hear the Billy from Huntown High Street now, “Murray, that’s the most Catholic of Catholic names ever spoken!”.

At this moment they’ll be checking his schooling, just in case he went to a Catholic school, spoke to Catholic friends or has ever refereed a match with Tom Murphy as his assistant.

They’ll even be scouring You Tube for video evidence to see if he issues cards like he’s making the sign of the cross!

Well, at least he’ll take the heat of  ‘Basher Boruc’ and  ‘Mouthy McGeady’ for a couple of days…
