Tell All The Huns You Know…We’re Still Top Of The League..

Following our trip this afternoon to the Capitals City’s Swinecastle the question being asked by all in Timdom is did we lose Two Points in  the quest for our Fourth Title In A Row ?…or did we in fact actually gain One Point considering our overall display..?

Our match against the “Wee Rankers” was always going to be difficult but I believe that WGS showed them too much respect by making three changes to The Bhoys starting line-up just when it started to look like we had found a solid winning formation….

Now I know one was forced upon us by an injury to “The Hun Skelper” Darren O’Dea but why take Naka and Crosas out of midfield and replace them with Caldwell plus Willo Flood who he hasn’t even had on the bench of late ?

I heard WGS say the “Hearts are a big physical team and we need to match them up on that”…Well Gordon…No we don’t…Why don’t we play “The Celtic Way” by using skillful players and passing the ball around their physical players ?..It has worked for many managers throughout Celtic’s History.

Only when with twenty minutes to go in the match and with the midfield now restored to have both Naka and Crosas in there did we look like “Playing Football The Glasgow Celtic Way” and with that nearly took all Three Points from a game we seriously at times looked like losing.

I think WGS should let teams think about how they are going to adapt to how we play and stop changing formations to match them.

Personally I believe this might ultimately be a “Point Gained” in our quest for “Four In A Row” and let’s all remember that if we still win all our games then “Scotlands Shame” can’t stop us retaining our SPL Title….

F**K You Rankers We’re Gonna Win The League !!!!

A Very Happy and A Very Holy Easter To All Bhoys & Ghirls In Timdom…

Sammy To Come Good…

Come On Down Sammy Bhoy!

As Celtic make the short journey down the M77 tonight to take on  Kilmarnock, I would hope to see a more relaxed and settled Georgios Samaras.

Safe in the knowledge that he’ll start the game with little chance of being substituted, unless he has a real howler, Sammy will be looking to show some of the form that took him to the top of the scoring charts earlier in the season.

It’s been said often enough, but confidence plays a major part in any players make-up and Sammy is no exception.

His record against Killie is good, somehow players always seem to have favourite teams when it comes to scoring, so he should be bhoyed in the knowledge that he’s done it down there before.

Looking to provide Sammy with some service will be our Catalan Maestro Marc Crosas. Fresh from his first goal in the Hoops, a cracker in our 7-0 demolition of St Mirren, Marc brings another touch of class and stability to the middle of the park.

With Crosas, Nakamura, Mc Geady and Brown in the midfield we should have enough options to come home with all three points, and a few goals.
