John Fallon Says….Winning Ugly, So What?
Posted by: | CommentsA Win Is A Win, Ok?
Hail! Hail! All….
Well, as they say…a win is a win and yesterday we won ugly.
Ugly? You bet, as ugly as this zonal non-marking is we managed to score three and, of course, concede one. Now Ghord, I’m sorry to say it again, and I’ll keep saying it until I’m GREEN in the face, I DON’T LIKE zonal marking!
In your interview after the game you said that you had worked on this system on Friday. Well it seems to me that your defenders are thick and can’t understand what to do!

Sometimes You Gotta Win Ugly!
Still, we got the three points, after a really sluggish start. We were slow inmovement, slow in passing, our midfield just seemed to be all out of sorts.
I was screaming at the TV to get it sorted!!!
Then on half-time we get a wee break.
In the second half we came out and started to play a bit. We passed the ball better and managed to put the Sheep under pressure, scoring two goals into the bargain.
But the scoreline does give a false impression of the game.
We have two of the slowest forwards in the SPL, yet they manage to get two goals, our left back needs a rocket up his arse, if Lee Naylor thinks he can’t be dropped, wait ’til Darren O’Dea is fit.
And like it or not, Loovens is better in the air than Mick.
We will have to start better at Ipox next week, there is no doubt about that.
Anyway, our win put pressure back on Rankers and give the Jam Farts space for their Euro place in third. Never thought I’d say this…..c’mon the Jam Farts, win at Legoland today and cheer us all up!
Well, that’s it for me…
Hail! Hail!

P.S. Tango was very generous in his praise of Celtic during his post match interview, despite the defeat.

To take our minds momentarily from the despair around our poor form, the Jungle Bhoys have launched a pin badge in memory of favourite
Celtic son Tommy Burns.
The aim of The Jungle Bhoys is to raise the funds to produce a Digitally Printed Tommy Burns Banner that will be unfurled at Celtic Park.
You can purchase your very own pin badge for £3.50 and every penny will go towards the production of the banner.
Lets support a good cause…
