Over the course of the last 24 hours we’ve been subjected to media coverage of yet another ’new consortium’ attempting to resurrect a corpse over in Govan.
John ‘Bomber’ Brown has become the spokesman for the latest consortium who want Charles Green to ‘show him the title deeds’ to Ibrokes, then leave if his name isn’t on them. How easy is that?
His interview on Sky (on this site yesterday) was cringe worthy to say the least. He later repeated his incoherent rant on the BBC followed by another embarrassing rave on Talksport.
People who don’t know anything about Glasgow or it’s citizens must be thinking we live in some backward Redneck society when one half of the city has this ‘ned’ for a spokesman. WATP is alive and kicking when this all they can offer.
All that was missing was his shellsuit!
He later held a ‘rally’ on the steps of the ‘Big Hoose’ in front of 1,000-10,000 (take your pick) fellow ‘Bears’. * His ‘captive’ audience would have been better suited to Jerry Srpinger, but then again, as Brown points out, he’s ‘one of them’!
Without labouring the point, once you’ve watched him address the baying crowd, tell me honestly if Scottish football can live without them?

Sandy Jardine, the public face of ragers, has just proclaimed on their TV station that their history is safe. Their is no break in their 140 year history. It continues. Our nine titles in a row are safe. The idea that ragers is now a different club is just banter “from certain quarters”. “We’ve never listened to anyone else before, so why should we listen to them now”. We will fight them on the beaches, etc, etc.
I think maybe someone should take Sandy gently by the hand and lead him off to a nice quiet place were he can’t do himself, or anyone else, any harm. He’s sounding more and more like Dr Strangelove ever day.
