Every man and his dog knows about Dignity FC’s years of cheating by using dual contracts to gain an incredible unfair advantage over every one of their competitors, both domestic and European.

The SPL have yet to disclose their findings, officially, but the statement from Doncaster that ‘Rangers will be treated like any other club’ could be the warning shot the blue half of Glasgow needs to convince them that they are the perpetrators and not the victims.

For months now, though it feels longer, the Scottish media have peddled out this ‘poor Rangers’ and ‘Scottish Football needs Rangers’ line. What they are effectively saying is, ‘we condone cheating, as long as it’s Rangers.’

Don’t they realise how close the judicial panel were to making the ultimate decision for the SPL, expulsion? Yip, they seriously considered throwing the Govan Mob out of Scottish Football for good, such was the scale of their wrong doings.

And that’s before the ‘dual contract’s’ fiasco is considered.

So, my friend, if the authorities follow the lead made by the judicial panel and punish the Establishment team like they should be punished, then you will see their history ripped to threads with titles and cups stripped off what will become a ‘roll of dishonour’.

And Scottish Football will finally get it’s house in order and move forward with a level playing field, safe in the knowledge that those who cheat never prosper.

Sammy’s Season Was Almost ‘Back From The Dead Like’

I’ll never forget Lenny being asked during one of his usual press ‘grillings’ about the form of Georgios Samaras, when he made the assumption that players like him ‘could get a manager the sack ‘.

At that time Sammy was living up to the billing of a ‘Greek Tragedy’ with performances that were most of the time woeful. He certainly got plenty stick on this site, and I’ll put my hand up for giving him that stick, which was merited in all honesty.

In all fairness to the player still believed in his ability, and was desperate for a run in the team, instead of two or three games on the bounce. Everyone knew what he was capable of, it was just a matter of getting some consistency into his game.

Lenny, in his infinite wisdom decided it was flush or bust with the big fella and gave the player an extended run in the team. That coincided with the Hoops putting together a string of results that saw the Bhoys turn the title race on it’s head.

Ultimately, Sammy has been rewarded with a place in the Greece squad for the forthcoming European Championships. Our very own Lazarus gets up to walk, at last…..

Authorities Must Prepare Now…

With the Judicial Panel upholding Rangers’ appeal and imposing the fine of £160,000 and enforcing the much disputed 12 month transfer embargo, preparations have to get under way for the Ibrokes clubs fixtures next season.

Although the transfer ban look to be hefty, in all honesty they don’t pay for players they sign anyway so it shouldn’t have that much of an effect.

And as the panel pointed out, they already have more than 40 professionals on their books as it is, so why do they need to steal anymore?

Having read that the Givan mob will appeal the appeal, much like FC Sion did last season, but still ended up with the same verdict, I think it would be prudent of the SFL to extend the hand of friendship to Rangers and invite them to play in the Scottish Third Division.

Then, and only then will be know if the Clyde v Rangers game will be all-ticket!

Well In My Opinion He Is!

It is easy to get caught up in all the title celebrations over the last few weeks, it’s expected after all. As the goals flew in for Gary Hooper and the Bhoys with their families took a bow at the end of the game on Sunday I took a minute out to think of the tougher times.

You know, when the walls were crumbling and the rumours of dressing room unrest were rife. A time when no matter how we played we just couldn’t get the results we deserved.

Well for me there was a man who stood firm, faced the cameras and told the world that we would keep working and everything would be alright.

That man? Johan Mjallby.

Maybe it’s a Scandinavian thing but he never once lost his cool no matter how awkward the laptop loyal’s questions were. And there were plenty put to try and trip ol’ Johnny Bravo up!

Lenny needed a trusty lieutenant. One that he could rely on. A cool head so to speak. And he’s got one.

So, as much as Lenny and the Bhoys will get the credit for bringing the SPL title back to Celtic Park, spare a thought for big Johan, an integral part of the Celtic Family who kept a cool head when it was needed most.

Just Who Are Charles Green’s Top Twenty?

You would think that NOW is the time for transparency over Govan way considering they’ve publicly demanded it of the SFA.

Only a couple of weeks ago we had the media darling McCoist DEMANDING, for the sake of Scottish Football and for the fans, who sat on the judicial panel that ruled on his clubs catalogue of discrepancies.

In front of the TV cameras, the Sneaky One made himself look like the ‘people’s champion’, like some kind of justice seeker. In reality, the Ibrokes club knew exactly who the panel were.

McCoists outburst was enough of a signal to the ‘bampots’ of which there are many, to embark on a campaign of intimidation. This is the norm for the Govan mob when the don’t get their own way, or even if they just don’t like you.

Of course he declined to apolgise for his comments. They don’t do apologies over the Southside of Glasgow. (Or responsibility, or paying tax, or……)

Surely in his search for transparency, the Blamegers manager MUST want Scottish Football fans to know just who are Charles Green’s band of merry men?

Or is the cheeky chappy scared of what he might find? Could there be another Craigie Whyte lurking in the twenty?

If he doesn’t find out, WE will, nothings surer!

After a roller coaster season Celtic were deservedly presented with the SPL trophy, once Gary Hooper had single handedly demolished Hertz by scoring all FIVE goals in a 5-0 drubbing.

His quintet today took Hoops’ tally to 29 for the season, not bad when you consider the amount of knocks he’s carried throughout the campaign.

In a nutshell, being Champions is what it’s all about.

However, you wouldn’t think so in this place.

For some reason a statement from Dumb & Dumber over at Blamegers took centre stage on the news bulletins. More claims, promises and inaccuracies were spouted over the airways by people who should no better.

If it was there aim to take the shine off Neil Lennon’s first SPL trophy as manager, then it’s backfired spectacularly.

60,000 of the Faithful made the atmosphere at Celtic Park THE place to be.

We know where were going, and we know how we’re going to get there.

And false promises and dodgy headlines won’t be needed.

P.S. A big thanks to the fabulous Thai Tims, once again their half-time performance brought home how fantastic this football club is.

Hope they have a safe journey home and look forward to seeing them back in Paradise some day!

And The Clowns Just Keep On Coming!

Even the most fervent Bluenose must be getting fed up with all the deadlines and promises coming out of Ibrokes.

What with bidders being ‘preferred’, then declining due to fantasy figures from Dumb & Dumber and of course the vitriol from the support, the TBK’s claiming ‘blood’ on the Admins hands if they don’t deal.

It’s a circus.

And for long enough the Big Top was allowed to run with as many clowns as it could muster. As long as the audience were happy with their red, white and blue confetti, everything was rosy. The Ringmaster wanted the ‘Best Circus In Town’, and he got it.

But sadly this Billy wasn’t so Smart.

The money he ‘borrowed’ had to be paid back. His biggest attraction, Hector, needed paid, so he had to find a way to sell The Big Top, quickly.

For years he was hawking the thing with no luck.

Until he found the ‘ultimate clown’. The Charlie Cairoli of his time, aka Craig Whyte. The ‘ultimate clown’ had disposed of lots of circuses in his time, so The Ringmaster thought he could close his circus, without anyone blaming him.

In fact, The Ringmaster could claim he was ‘duped’!

Unfortunately, TUC, didn’t play ball. He refused to pay Hector, the Lion Tamers or any of the Clowns who turned out every week for them. He was soon to become ‘the bad clown’.

And we all know what happens to ‘bad clowns’ children?

Well, the people who run circuses in Scotland were not amused. Not paying Hector was a serious offence. Not paying Lion Tamers, Trapeze Artists, Face Painters or Clowns was deemed to be nearly as bad as fixing to ‘shoot somebody out a canon’!

This couldn’t continue. Surely this circus would have to close? Well, maybe it will, sooner rather than later. And the The Big Top will become The Wee Top and travel round small towns in Scotland until it becomes a Big Top again.

The End.

HeadInTheSand FC Alive & Kicking!

I was absolutely amazed reading the report from the recent Rangers’ (in Administration) judicial hearing, published today.

The panel that was ‘outed’ by the Sneaky One’s public plea, felt the charges against the Ibrokes club were so severe that they seriously considered ‘expulsion’ from Scottish Football and the termination of the Govan Mob’s SFA membership!

Wow!

Instead they opted for a £160,000 fine against the club, £200,000 against owner Craigie Whyte (nae chance of seeing that) and a 12 month transfer embargo.

Of course the ‘Big Hoose Brigade’ thought they had been hard done by.

Obviously they are so thick they didn’t realise just how serious not paying the HMRC, fellow football clubs and creditors in general is. Probably because they spend their whole life blaming everyone else for their misconduct.

But still they are defiant.

No CVA, no money, soon no ground, no players and still the Sneaky One tell’s us there will always be a Rangers. He even goes as far to tell us that a ‘newco’ wouldn’t mean a break in history.

Aye right Ally, why would you want to hear the truth, you’ve no listened to anyone before!

Rangers RIP. Can’t even say it was good knowing you….

P.S. The appeal panel will sit on Wednesday 16th May, all three members have been named, just like the Sneaky One wanted, so they can expect quite a bit of scrutiny from the media and Ally’s ‘bampots’ between now and then.

Forget picking up any of the tabloids of the broadsheets, if you really want to know what’s happening with the debacle across the city then you just HAVE to get along to the Columba Club in Blantyre next Friday, May 18th.

Why?

Well, there will be a Q&A session on at the club that evening with a panel consisting:

Phil McGhiollabhain, the most informed man in the business;

Paul Brennan, the man behind the excellent Celtic Quick News;

In case we misunderstand the Rangers support or any questions relating to the situation over in Govan, here’s an example of how they communicate.

Yank Go Home =”The general call from the supporters was ‘who are you? Give us an explanation of what you’re trying to achieve. Let’s try to work together and engage with you and see if we can take the club forward’,”

Celtic resign from SPL on Monday after the Hearts game. They will only retract this if Rangers are admitted to the Third Division as a penalty for their cheating and to protect the integrity of Scottish Football.

Fans from Aberdeen, Hibs and the Faithful agree to hold back buying season tickets and plan to boycott away games if Rangers are allowed back into the SPL.

They only need two more clubs to vote on 30th May. If eight or more back Rangers being readmitted, then Celtic leave the SPL and invite clubs who voted against Rangers and First Division teams to set up a new league.

This move would put direct pressure on the SPL chairmen to do what is right for the integrity of the game and not for short term financial self interest.

Could it all happen? Mibees aye, Mibees naw!
