Former Celt Mark McGhee, fresh from his stint in the Pittodrie stand, will bring his all kicking, not much football, Motherwell side to Celtic Park this Saturday. As per usual, Keith Lasley will be allowed to kick anything in green and white for at least an hour, depending on the referee, he might get away with it for the whole game!
However, the rough house tactics won’t be anything new on Brendan Rodgers’ Bhoys, the last five home games in particular have been quite brutal at times.
Ross County, St Johnstone, Hearts, Aberdeen and last week Inverness Caley Thistle were all given the green light by the officials to stop Celtic playing at any cost.
How ICT managed to keep eleven men on the park last Saturday baffles not only me but the Faithful in general?. Ian Vigurs two footed lunge on Scott Sinclair should have been a straight red card itself. But somehow Kevin Clancy continued the ongoing incompetence shown by the officals when they come Celtic Park.
At some point one of our players is going to get seriously injured, by then it’ll be too late.
Then again, who can blame the players when their manager acts like Mark McGhee?
P.S. Mark, if you’re in the away dugout, Chris Davies is the guy next to Brendan, jumping up and down in the home dugout when we score!
