This week midfielder Nir Bitton joined the ranks of the ‘dye in the hair’ Bhoys, Moussa and Scotty at Celtic Park with a blonde makeover. His choice of colour will make him stand out even more as he re-establishs himself as a regular pick under manager Brendan Rodgers.
Often a target for the boo Bhoys, Bitton has in recent weeks shown some of the form that had him rated as a £6M player under previous manager Ronny Deila.
Nir, like Stefan Johansen lost this way towards the end of last season and look destined to join the Norwegian on his way out of Celtic.
His slow and ponderous style didn’t seem to be in line with the hard pressing work ethic required under Brendan, but in all fairness to the player, he never once suggested he was looking for a way out, instead he knuckled down and is now reaping the rewards.
Bitton the blonde will be hoping his new look doesn’t stop him pulling on the Hoops for the 19th time this season on Saturday against Motherwell.
