On the announcement earlier this week that today’s referee would be Dougie McDonald I commented that we could expect no favours.
Well, at the Bigotdome this afternoon McDonald exceeded even his poor standards by officiating an a manner that would have embarrassed a public park whistler.
The sending-off of Celtic captain Scott Brown was scandalous to say the least, when you consider that there wasn’t even a caution handed out to Lafferty, who once again managed to escape the correct punishment.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the MIB booked Boogera after only six minutes for a foul on Robbie Keane then allowed him to commit the exact same foul another three times without issuing him a second yellow card. Baffling!
To make matters worse, the big Algerian was involved in the lead up to the MM goal, three minutes into injury time.
Over the piece Celtic didn’t deserve to lose, nor did we do enough to win but the most galling fact is the blatant cheating that the officials indulge in game after game. The whole thing stinks.
It seems to me that the authorities will do anything in their power to ensure that the SPL title remains at the Bigotdome thus giving them access to Champions League money. That may be enough to allow the Establishment club to regroup.
I cannot remember a time like this. I really think the club should seriously consider giving notice to the SPL and SFA and apply to join the League of Ireland. That way they can send as many title’s as they like to Govan.
P.S. A letter is on it’s way to the SPL over Kilmarnock manager Jimmy Calderwood’s conduct on Sky this afternoon as he openly celebrated the MM’s goal with a yeeeeessss.

The truth is we werent good enough and the balance of our team is all wrong. It’s a sad day when we lose to a weak hun team and again show no fight or desire to win the game. Changes are needed and that has to start with the management and the sooner the better !.. This season is all but over (scottish cup appart)so now we need a manager who knows how to build a team and get the best out of our players(scott brown is a joke and he has to go). I only hope we can make changes soon and readdress this bad sittuation and take control of this weak league we play in . Hail Hail

The fact is if we were playing on a level playing field we would be well ahead of the huns by now.

Simple, the SFA know they will weaken and tire before the end of the season. Throw in a few injuries here and there, and they knew the huns had no fuckin’ chance!!!
