Kids Shore Up Defence As Keano Kills Off Arabs!
ByRobbie Strike Gives Hoops All Three Points.
A goal after twenty minutes was enough to give Celtic all three points against Dundee United at Celtic Park this afternoon.
With youngsters Josh Thompson and Thomas Rogne at the heart of the Bhoys defence the Faithful were hoping the Arabs wouldn’t give them too much trouble.
And they duly obliged.
Rarely were the pair troubled as Celtic controlled most of the game, wasting numerous chances once again. Thankfully this time we have the quality that counts, and Robbie Keane showed just that with the only goal of the game.
After last weeks events at Pittodrie it’s great to hold onto a lead and take full points as we try and eat our way into the Huns’ lead at the top.
And we’ve got a bit of confidence back before we go to the Hunnery next week, where no doubt we’ll be the best team on show only to be denied by incompetent refereeing!
Paranoia Time: Strange the St Johnstone game was called off this afternoon, only days after thumping Hibs 5-1, on the same night the MM struggled against St Mirren.
