Morten Seals Celtic Victory!

By Fanzone

Rasmussen Strike Gives Hoops Three Points….

It looked like being one of those days, again.  After only 59 seconds MAF was bundled down in the box for a stonewall penalty only for ‘ref’ Calum Murray to give Accies a free kick! (Bemusing to say the least!)

For the next hour the Bhoys huffed and puffed without making Tomas Cerny in the Hamilton goal do very much.

Then Mogga decided he’d given Zhi and Sammy enough time to do something, replacing the pair with Niall McGinn and new Bhoy Morten Rasmussen.

Within minutes the switch paid off with Ras turning in the box to put the Hoops 1-0 up. A huge sign of relief was felt around New Douglas Park as the breakthrough gave Celtic some breathing space.

Not much happened after the goal, apart from MAF missing a penalty in the final minute after he was bundled off the ball in the area.

A good three points, a clean sheet and a really good display from young Josh Thompson, who slotted in well at the back with debutant Jos Hoiveld.

    a win is a win.

watching the celts might be the equivalent of visual teeth grinding but any win is welcome.

fair play to ra ra, he scuffs and bundles them in with no pretensions of grace – but – he scores and hopefully continues to do so.

good to see n’guemo back to, but, and i know many will disagree, why drop crosas?

there is only one player available to the ‘tic who can keep and circulate the ball, its crosas… so why drop him?

i know that many tims would prefer screamers and shouters (Brown), but there is a need in every team for someone who is always available and plays a range of passes without fuss, that TM doesnt fancy crosas is, in my view, worrying.

that aside… the bunch of strangers that now assume the guise of the celtic ‘team’ managed a win… that will do for now.

keep the faith and bring on tuesday…
