Is Beating Celtic Enough…..?
ByWhat Happened To The Cameras?
Before I get accused of being a paranoid Tim, of which I am proud to be, I was just wondering what happened to the cameras at Sunday’s game?
The reason I ask is this. Barry Robson was caught midway through the second-half receiving a forearm smash (commentators phrase) from on-loan bluenose Andy Webster.
And standing only five yards away was referee Dougie McDonald who duly gave Celtic a free-kick. So, if it was a free-kick and the defender raised his fists, which was clear to see on TV, why wasn’t he sent-off?
The referee saw the incident clearly, that’s why he gave the free-kick, so why didn’t he send him off?
Because he was wearing Tangarine, that’s why. Do you think if he was in the Hoops he’d get away with it? Not a chance.
And to make matters worse, the same big hun clearly blocked Glenn Loovens for the Arabs’ winner, something the cameras DID highlight last night. Only this time, the referee missed it, again!
Decisions like these make winning points even harder. Sure we had enough chances in the game to be out of sight by half-time but that doesn’t get away from important calls being dealt with correctly.
Then again, we’re just paranoid………..
Fanzone when are you going to learn, did nobody notice that the stand side offical gave every ball to Dundee utd shies goalkicks corners all dubious, also offside;s against us,
2nd half 2 offside decisions we never got the Arabs almost scored even the commentators said offside so nothing changes it;s a fact of life,
UEFa even about turned there decision when the toad dived
Still waiting the SFA’s axplanation as to exactly how the retrospective disipline ‘thingy’ works, It seems they don’t quite know themselves or perhaps it’s instinctive, if you know what I mean!
On that vein, did UEFA/FIFA/SFA all really leave “the full an thorough investigation” into the huns OFFICIAL party (500 or so) in the SAn Siro, 2005, singing vile RACIST SECTARIAN BIGOTED filth to dodgy dave?
I’m still waiting, the ammount of time it’s taking it must be a belter, with no stone unturned!
Never mind, I’m sure if those down at the hunnery drag their heels much longer UEFA/FIFA/SFA will step in to demand the names of the culprits who shamed the sport (& their organisations), their clubs and their country, after all it was they who dictated the game be played behind closed doors to keep the scum away*!
Failing that I’m sure the intrepid sports media in Scotland will be demanding answers………..won’t they Mr Spiers, after all I’m sure you could be No1 eye witeness, as I’m certain you yourself would have been present!!
Have to stop now, a big tumbleweed just blew across my screen!!
*Slightly unfair there, if they had been 100% successful the huns wouldn’t have been able to field a side.
Beating Celtic, the worst thing is that a team, at the top of the league have more problems than us, yet god forbid this shite could go on and win the treble,
