It’s only just gone an hour in the Falkirk v Celtic fixture today and as the Bairns go 2-1 up NEVER has there been such a need for a Celtic manager to start a clear out of players.
It doesn’t matter if we eventually go on to win the game the basic requirement for pulling on a Celtic jersey just isn’t there.
And on this occasion, THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!
No hunger, no passing ability, no composure, I could go on but frankly there isn’t enough room on one page.
We are playing a team bottom of the SPL who are totally outplaying us.
It will be interesting to hear what Mogga has to say after this debacle.
That was embarassing. These players are not fit to wear the Celtic jersey. A draw against a team we should be scoring 5 or 6 against. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Yes, The players are not good enough, but what about the manager. Do we really want to give Mowbray monet to spend. Fortune looks totally out of his depth and not worth a fraction of the £6M we paid for him. NGuemo is just not good enough, danny Fox just flatters to deceive and to me his crosses today were almost laughable, he ois never Celtic class and no better than Lee Naylor. ZZ, why isn\’t he playing him. These are the players that Mowbray has brought in and in my eyes have made us a pooer team. As for the rest, there is nothing there. I would keep Boruc (Zaluka as well) and the rest could go for me, but do I trust Tony Mowbray with the money to spend on replacements, I don\’t think so.

we cannot be getting rid of the manager, in january we need to offload the imposters, and with the money gathered from that plus some extra funding from the board then and only then can tony implement his ideas fully, we’re trying to play football the CELTIC way ie. pass and move and keeping it on the deck, how can we do this when caldwell, mcmanus and to some extent loovens just seem to want to launch it 60 yards every time,
i’m very disappointed with the game 2day, in fact i’m raging with it, but its the players who are to blame, there is no excuse 4 a professional footballer not to be able to control a football or give a simple ten yard pass, i’m a joiner and if i can’t hang a door then i’ll be let go……
i feel we need to steer clear of knee jerk reactions like calling 4 the managers head, we need january to come asap,

yes, the shirt now shrinks to fit anyone that can lace his own boots, but i wonder how many can actually manage that, but in the end the board set the conditions from which all else comes.
this board have their priorities completely wrong
1. the purpose of a football team is to play fitba
2. all the infra structure including board, manager, coaches and even the tea lady are employed to SUPPORT the action on the pitch.
3. without the team and support, there is NO club.
4. it is expected that a ‘major’ world famous club will operate with a manageable debt, without which they cannot compete.
this board has forgotten these basic truths in their obsession with money, they dont seem to realise that we dont support a financial institution, we support a football club.
they have put the proverbial cart before the horse, and if they carry on this way there will be no supporters left to pay their wages, they are overseeing a terrible decline in celtic fc and they should be ashamed.
the only way they will change is when the gates get to such a level that even they cant deny it.

Todays game was an embarassment, no desire, no commitment, no passion, no nothing! Fortune is an utter dud, and him and samaras should be the first to go out the door, a complete waste of a jersey! How the hell Mowbray decided to leave Skippy on the bench ill never know, hes our ONLY striker. McManus was completly shite and should be nowhere near Celtic Park letr alone the Fu**ing captain! None of the players turned up today, on that performance they dont even deserve to get paid £500 per week! I am embarassed telling people im a Celtic fan and if things dont change in January i dont think i will be a fan for much longer. They dont deserve a single quid of my money!
I am a west brom fan. Its a shame but we could ahve ytold you what you were getting. Foirtune was on loan with us last year and could not hit a cows ars* with a Banjo. Hopefully he will come and buy some of the crap he signed for us.
The problem with the team this season hasn’t been Tony Mowbray. The problem is some of the rubbish players Strachan left behind especially Caldwell and McManus. They are the worst central defensive partnership we have ever had. Mowbray can only be judged after he has brought in his own players. I believe that he will be a brilliant manager for us when he does get his own team together.
Today was an utter disgrace…even worse than that. However, Sam I have a message for you. No matter how poorly Celtic play and how shite the manager, board, etc are, I will NEVER STOP SUPPORTING this club…as the song says “faithful through and through”. If you don’t wish to support Celtic in these meager times you do not deserve to be a CELTIC SUPPORTER!!!

The Board have a lot to answer for and Lawwell in particular.
2 years ago we won the league on the last day and the writing was on the wall.
Last Christmas transfer window he said no one wanted our money, we all know where the championship went.
This season we bring in our third or fourth choice manager, refuse to back him financially but if you look at Lawwells bonuses and salary he earned 740,000 pounds last year which included a 35% pay increase.
Over the last 2 years he has almost doubled his salary while overseeing the downsizing of the playing side.
Time Lawwell fell on his sword
Agree with most of your sentiments pal, and I hate to criticise the manager but so far his signings are not helping the cause much. And for me Danny Fox will be a defender when I’m an astronaut!

We canny keep blaming WGS, somehow he fashioned a SPL winning side out of the ‘dross’ that he left. Yesterday, like so many games this season was crying out for a….Naka. Someone to hold the ball and keep possession. He was the best player at Celtic Park and Bhoy do we miss him!
Pains me to say this, but the position we occupy in the Europa League doesn’t lie.
We are slipping back from where we were in after Seville, and the only direction to point in that respect is towards the boardroom.
We’re on our third manager since then and apart from two forays under WGS, where we qualified for the knockout stages in the Champions League, we are nowhere near competent in Europe.
Mourinho got money after Seville and lifted the Big One the following year.
We were guaranteed the KOK for another season, and, with a little investment, may have done it the following year.
But this board have no ambitions, and they won’t push the boat out in the interest of prudence.
We all know you can buy quality, but you can’t buy success, but there is no quality in this team, and I don’t believe for a minute that Mowbray sees anything different from us in the stands.
Judge the manager with his own team and get behind them, cause believe me they need the backing.

this team is a farce, why is paul caddis sitting on the bench week in week out last 2 pre sessons the boy has been our best player and does well when he comes in that hinkle gets the ball and does not have a clue what to so with it, fox is no better than naylor only longer and cost more money, as for the 3 centre halfs lol i dont even need to say anything, i think the fact that the only guy who will take them is gordan starchan(exception of glenn) i think mcgeady and boruc must wonder why they bother. think they will sell boruc brown mcgeady within a year so they can raise funds, and with guys like mginn,paddy, and with zaluka doing well the board will try ofload boruc and will feel they can cope with out him( plus the more money they get in the less they have to shell out) even if they sold these 3 and got around 20 mil for them it would still not be enough for what wee need.
need a striker who can score and international level, mcdonald is good for spl, but in the big games needs 3 or 4 chances before he takes cant afford that as we dont get that many. what are the odds that celtic could go for boyd (love to see it but cant)
And to add weight to the arguement this is the same group of players who won only 4 out of the last 14 games last season.
Sorry previous to my point about the team I made a point about the general state of the club, but obviously made an arse of getting it registered.
Basically I have every faith that Tony Mowbray will get us going in the right direction. too many players have been living in a comfort zone and it has shown how little regard they have in being Celtic players by forming their cliques and going into a huff for a better term. What they should be doing now is playing with a passion to justify their existence at the club and showing the manager who has the best interests of the club at heart that he should keep them. at this stage roll on January and kick these imposters out! At Hamburg alone we should have scored a minimum of 3 goals if our so called strikers weren’t acting like spoiled brats who can’t accept critism.
