Tony Praises Ghord, While Macca Has A Go!

By Fanzone

Professionalism And Lies

Its amazing how two people, both Celtic through and through can have differing opinions about the one man.

Still In The News

Still In The News

Just yesterday, Tony Mowbray lavished praise on Ghordon Strachan and his backroom team for the way he has left a squad of players that are ‘thoroughly professional’ and ‘know what it means to play for Celtic.’

On the other hand, Frank ‘Macca’ McAvennie had ago at Ghord for his after match performances.

Speaking on Talksport earlier this week, the bold Macca commented that Tony Mowbray will be honest enough with the fans after a game and ‘not try to tell us we were brilliant, when clearly we weren’t’

Obviously referring to the previous managers slant on lost matches.

I suppose the differing opinions are much the same as the Faithful in general, some hate some love him!

I’m interested in Tony Mowbray’s opinions, he is an intelligent man who knows a lot about football. I really couldn’t give a feck what McAvennie thinks about anything. Yeah he was great for Celtic as a player, that doesn’t mean he is now any more than a drug addled oaf.

I hope that didn’t come across as harsh.

hey up, whats done is done, wgs was neither all good nor all bad… certainly we should be looking at the board as well as wgs for the reason rangers are in the group stages of the champions league and we’r facing a tricky couple of rounds to get there. wgs is gone and now its TM’S time in the hot seat.

although very early days the signs are promising with all the players being looked at afresh and the sulks and fall outs being put behind.

personally i hope he finds room for crosas, a quality player, donati, bless him, has done well enough but he just hasnt got it, he’s too brittle in the head as well as on the pitch.

    hail hail

Aye it was a bit too harsh, he’s only giving his opinion. Take a yellow card!

WGS won 3 titles in a row – that’s what the record books show – I hope Mowbray does the same.

we all have our problems,as does frankie mac.hes entitled to his opinion as are we..he is right aboot wee gordon tellin us black is white. his habit of after having just watched a sub par performance from the bhoys and him telling you how good it was became irritating…I think we will all benefit from big tonys honesty and I have to say its nice to see football being played ‘the celtic way’ again..bring on the ruskies!!
